Folksy Friday: Coco Chanel - Bows, Stars and Feathers

'A girl should be two things; classy and fabulous.' Coco Chanel

Hello, and welcome to my very first Folksy Friday!

So, I was in the library in my lunch break one day this week, looking at jewellery books (what else!), when I got distracted by a book about Coco Chanel and her jewellery. Her ideas about jewellery are fascinating to read about if, like me, you don't know much about her, but to get to my point...in 1932 she brought out a range of diamond jewellery, all based on bows, stars and feathers.

These are all lovely symbols that also feature in many Folksy jewellery designers' work, I've noticed, so in a tribute to Coco, here are some lovely items I've found. I hope you find something you like!
